I've never had one but I'm starting to think I should. I am finally getting enough positive memories that I could put pics and stuff in it.
This might be a wierd thought but I am moving house next weekend and I am planning on trying to make my whole room a more postive place - a kind of giant emergency box I can sleep in! I am only going to put happy memory photos in it, make all my art stuff and books more acessible and try to throw out, hide or make inacessible the things that upset me.

Mine is made of cardboard. I bought it in John Lewis:

Mine is an emergency bag. Its a really cool carrier bag which is pinky purple with loads of smiley faces on it. I have no idea where I got it as it doesn't have a shop name on, but I remember finding it in my room and thinking it was pretty so I kept it. In it are all my letters from Amy, Helen and Georgie, my poems, photos, my Dan book and loads of random things I collect on my travels. Then I have another carrier bag in it with 'proper' things like stuff I've printed out and magazine articles I've saved. Oh and a list of phone numbers I can ring whenever.

My emergency box is this leapord/zebra print material that's silky and around the edge of the lid has pink feathers. The top is a photo frame and I have a picture of an old friend in there. It's my fav color combo (black, white, hot pink) so that makes it such a comfort. Should use it more often.
I guess I actually have two....Because I have a plastic shoe box container full of Play-Doh.
