I think it's a new topic vs. old topic sort of thing. All the other kinds of topics have different colors for old and new.

I used to volunteer for a local animal shelter. It was really great. I called and said I needed to take a break for finals, and then I started having really bad troubles with my mental illness, and then I ended up in the hospital, got dumped, lost my job, and was forced to move. So I haven't gotten ...

I get weird crap. It's super easy to throw together a script that will mask the sender's e-mail address. Basically, if I get something questionable that appears to be from someone I know, I try to contact the person before opening it. For example, my mom doesn't know how to e-mail attachments, even ...

Sometimes the same thing happens to me. I've got mine pinpointed to my crappy dial-up connection combined with my lack of RAM. Occasionally I have to try a couple times. If I type something long I usually copy and paste it into Notepad or something. One thing that really helped my situation (the RAM...

Are PHP-type sources in image tag allowed in sigs?

For example, <img src="http://www.mydomain.com/somefile.php"> For anyone who doesn't know, the way this works is the browser accesses the PHP f...

Reserved Avatar
I created an avatar for myself and sent it to avatars@busmail.org about 5 days ago. I'm not trying to be impatient or anything, but I was just wondering how long it takes for that to go up and if I sent it to the right addy. I've never made my own avatar and I just wanted to make sure I did it right...

The link for the styles demo didn't work, but I found a phpBB2 styles demo here. It has more styles than are available on this board, and not all the ones available here. Also, some of the ones with the same names don't match.

Last time I wanted to SI and didn't it was because my wonderful cat Matilda was staring at me with her innocent, unconditionally loving eyes, trying to figure out what I was doing. Instead of SI-ing I talked to her and cuddled with her, which was comforting. It's nice because she doesn't argue with ...
